Solid surface material

A. Things you’ll need:
Clean water
Mild, abrasive cleanser (e.g. C.I.F)
Wet cloth
Clean towels

B. Instructions:
*** Removing blotches or stains

To remove blotchy (or film of minerals) appearances, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: When possible, try to clean the product right after using it to prevent hard stains from settling on the surface. Use a wet cloth and mild abrasive liquid to clean the entire surface. Gently scrub in circular motions until until all dirt or stains are completely removed from the surface. For tough stains, use C.I.F cream mix with water to clean the surface, or, if needed be, leave C.I.F cream overnight to act on tough stains.
Step 2: Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water, then drying it off.
Step 3: Repeat the process, if necessary, until all areas are free from blotches and/or stains.

*** Removing fine and deep scratches

This process can be done with gritted sponges because solid surface is the same inside-out; hence, it can be sanded and renewed, following these steps:

Step 1: Start sanding over the scratched areas using 400 grit wet sandpaper with water. Sand the scratched areas in straight or circular motions, until all the scratches’ edges are grinded down, creating a smooth surface. Periodically remove any built-up residues.
Step 2: Continue sanding the area using 800 grit wet sandpaper. Scrub the surface lightly in circular motions in order to polish the surface. For a glossier finished surface, 1200 grit sandpaper may be applied. For an even finished touch, white abrasive pad may be used (with water and scrub in circular motions).
Step 3: Rinse the surface with water and dry off thoroughly. Check to make sure the sanded areas blend well with the rest of the surface. Please note that the sanded area may not perfectly match the entire top. If necessary, repeat the sanding process for the entire surface until all areas look the same.

Note: there will be a short video clip on how to do these step (still need to be filmed)
Fiber cement + epoxy coating material
Never use any rough or sharp objects as this will damage the surface of the product. For cleaning stains:
Scrub gently over the stain area with soft pad with normal water or, if necessary, mild soap water. For removing scratches:
With very light scratches: do the same as cleaning of stains but scrub over the scratched areas in straight or circular motions until all the scratches look the same with the entire surface. However, the treated area may not perfectly match the entire remaining surface.

With complicated scratches: we recommend you to contact specialists from our office for further assistance.
